Crappy day

Work was hectic today. I really blew up on exces baggage. Got really pissed. Doesnt do nothin doesnt know nothin, y do we have 2 have such people. Atleast act like u r doing ur job if u cant actually do it. I felt like punching the idiot in the face. Good 4 nothin.
Another team meeting... another royal waste of time...
Cooked Rajma tonite. I need to work on it coz it wasnt up there. The guys were pretty happy with it though.
Crappy day all in all. Goodnite

Broken the barrier

Work is cool. Things r moving at their own sweet pace. Excess baggage is not bothering much thankfully.
The real gr8 thing is doing 12 laps non stop on the treadmill in the gym. I never did more than 5. Actually I never thought I could run long. And it feels absolutely gr8... having broken this barrier. Did 10+1 yesterday but was helped by some "motivation" in the gym, but today I could have gone may b a couple of laps more w/o any motivation ;-)
Will continue to push the limits.
Weather has been packed up since the past week and looks bad untill this weeked so no tennis lately. Its not so bad coz my forehand is getting some rest and should heal in this time. The gym work should bring in some strength. Plus hey am not breaking any strings if I'm not playing ;-)

If this doesnt inspire u then what does?

This has been the most thrilling race since quite some time. This is exactly y I became a schumi fan in the first place.
The qual2 mistake really put me off b4 the race started. Then barri's retirement was the lowest point in the race. But then on it was just a beautiful drive by the champ.
Truly I wasnt expecting much after schumi was stuck behind the train of slow cars on a track where overtaking is real tuff. The race wasnt telecast live here so i didnt have the lap times to refer to, to get an idea of schumi's pace but phew he just flew around the track.

After the first round of pit stops sorted themselves out it was getting clear what was happening. Schumi was consistently around 2 secs a lap faster than button n alonso. It was just amazing to see this drive. The move on button was as smooth as a hot knife thru butter. No second guesses, he saw the hole and just went thru zup! If only he could have got around button a couple of laps earlier or if button had pitted a few earlier the race could have been ours. If n buts...
Full points to alonso though to have absorbed the pressure from the champ and coming out on tops in the end. Full points to bridgestone 2 as the tyres on schumi's car up to the last lap looked pretty good. And the car is as fast as the F2004 was compared to the rest of the class.

Have ferrari finally arrived? Is it really the start of the season as schumi claimed b4 the race?
I would wait for the next race b4 i really think so. The few things we need to consider are that alonso was on his second race on the same engine and there were some concerns in that dept for them. May b renault de-tuned the engine a bit? The situation will be the opposite in spain with schumi on his second race & alonso with a new engine. The other thing is that all the teams test so much in barcelona that i dont think the tyres would make much difference unless 1 of em tries to go 2 aggressive (and end up stupid). I think on 8th May it will all be clear where the championship is headed.
BTW ferrari need to sort out the relability problems and barri needs to start taking points away from alonso if they r 2 end on top. And I really hope kimi also gets a bit lucky soon or else he'll go crazy. Mclaren have been failing him way 2 often.

All said n done, this man is still as hungry as a rookie even after more than a decade in the sport and 7 championships under his belt. If this doesnt inspire u then what does?

I just cant wait for this one

F1...
Ok my perdiction went completely rong for qual1. schumi p3 & barri p11. but lookin at the prac times from 2day morning these positions make sense coz am sure schumi is on the softer compound and barri on the hard 1's. probably barri is on 1 stop strategy. am also impressed bout where schumi is coz he went out when the track was slower compared to when kimi n alonso went out. So the car is definitely fast the tyres are good over 1 lap. but thats what worries me coz over the race distance the softer compound might not last. barri's pace is worryin me. y did he choose the harder 1? may b his drivin style is harder on the tyres... or some kinda wicked team strat. what ever it is, it doesnt look good.

As for qual2 i think alonso might try to short fuel and make the most b4 the first pit stops. kimi lines up besides him. schumi should be able to retain p3 from webber.

For the race, i think kimi should get this one. mclarens have shown amazing race pace. schumi might be troubled by webber and i just cannot say how the tyres r going to hold. if they do a podium looks good. barri should get upto 5/6th.
what i am really lookin fwd to is a good fight between kimi n alonso. BTW i thought i saw some blue smoke from kimi's car in qual1 2day but there was nothing from the commentators on it, so lets hope 4 the best.

Oh boy i just checked the weather forecast and it says light rain for the race sunday. this throws in a completely new dimension to the race. hoo haa

I just cant wait for this one...

This has been a good day

This has been a good day.
Had a nice victory in the morning on the work front.
Nice time spent at starbucks coz of a stunning dame right across the table. Phew...

And well I've finally made up my mind on what it is gonna be and I feel much better having made this decision. I know where I am going now so watch out :)

F1...
Well the rains gods havent smiled yet again. Its dry n the temp isnt 2 low.
Am not 2 impressed by the progress we have made over the past 3 weeks. I was hoping that the ferrari's would be up on everyone by like half a sec or sumthing. This doesnt look good.

But u can never b sure bout the prac times. Who knowz whoz sandbagging. Williams definitely de-tune their engines for the pracs.
As for qual1 tomorrow I predict, provided they dont screw it up anymore, that schumi should be around p8/p9 but expect barri to do better. Somewhere around P3/P4 for him. I hope this is a good race for kimi 2.

Hope it rains on sunday

Work has really started to get out of control. The excess baggage continues to slow me down. The man is just not ready to listen.
F1...
Saw the weather report for imola today and it brought a smile to my face. Its raining on wed, thu and sat. Hope it does so on sunday. The temp is also pretty low... around 15-16 cel.
If it doesnt rain its gonna be really tuff for the ferrari's to win coz of where they finished in bahrain. The new rules really penalize you if u dont do well in the previous race. So if they r gonna go out early on sat in qual1 then no matter how fast they r and how good bridgestone r they'll end up on the 4th 5th row. unless they short fuel on sun qual2 which will be even worse.
If they can finish close to the top order, they should be good in spain.
But if it rains... Ha ha wicked.

Nothin much

Its been a long time but nothin much has happened lately
Am as confused as ever. What do v do now? Where do v go from here?

Work is picking pace... which is nice. Its been some time.

F1...
Lots of testing going on. Ferrari have a mountain to climb. But they should be in good shape by imola. Kimi also needs to pick up his pace. The McLaren is a bit slow in the qualifying I read.

The Beast and me

The Beast arrived just on time yesterday. And boy did I have huge smile on my face.
It is just awesome. Just what i needed. I was killing my arm with the TiS6 coz i was having to generate so much pace on my own to get my shots in. And its so stiff that all the shock was troubling my arm.
Took some time to acclimatize my self with the Beast. But after that it was just so effortless and it really puts a kick behind the shots. The backhand cross court was cured automatically. The serve is getting back its kick and speed. Its all comming back. This season is gonna rock. TiS6 of course now becomes the No.2 racket.
The footwork is also getting better. I was feeling very light all day yesterday and was just flying on the court for about 2 hrs and didnt break a sweat.

Nothin much otherwise in the past couple of days.
Got a nice eye opener day b4 thanks to Leena. What happened was just not acceptable and I am already on my way to make corrections.

Have to start studying for the certification also now...

I feel so terrible

I am yet to come out from the shock from this morning. I went in truly believing that this was our race and the opening laps only supported my belief. Schumi was all over the back of Alonso and Barri had overtaken about 10 odd cars in the space of a couple of laps and he was carrying a lot of fuel.
I mean just looking at the results I wonder how much worse could have the old car done than this.
I feel like a lost puppy... & I cant do anything about it.
& I am so glad I didnt post my blog yesterday coz it would have made me look so damn stupid as I was going gaga over Schumi's practice sessions and pace.
Barri's race showed that Bridgestone have yet to get it right. They have solved the lack of performance in the initial laps but the tyre's r'nt durable yet over a race distance. It was such a shame.
A 24 point lead is gonna be tuff to claw back and I think we'r out of the window where we can afford to have such catastrophic failures.
Hav 3 weeks b4 the next race now and thats plenty of time to get the reliability gremlin's out of the way and get back to winning ways.
I feel so terrible I dont even wanna rite anything else from this damn weekend.

TGIF

Yeah the weekend is here. Its what I wait for from Monday itself. This one's even better coz of the race.
No tennis today coz of the cold and drizzle. Some goof's were still there on the court though.
Havin a daaru party at home. Hope it stays clean. Plan to go bowling after that. Hope we can check out some nice dames there. Its been a loooong time.
Oh ya some cute looking dames at a shopping mall just said hi or something and Boogie was like all out to get them, excited like crazy. A panting dog with his tail wagging is the picture that comes 2 mind.
I think thats the problem... A dame just needs to say "hi" and the guy thinks wow this really means something. I mean come on... Or may b am rong about all this.

F1...
Dont know what to make of the Friday practice sessions. If we just look at the results then Schumi is about half a second slower than Alonso. But there are huge variations within teams... like McLaren. Just cant say which one is running a de-tuned engine and which 1 is at max rev's. Barri's problems meant that Ferrari have missed on some useful data from his car. All in all they seem 2 b doing fine, but then again they looked handsome on Friday in Sepang too.
The first qualifying (Q1) gives the true picture of the pace of the cars since all are running low fuel. So we'll know tomorrow.
Just glanced at the temperatures in Imola and its pretty cold there, about 15 degrees. Though there is still some time but i hope it stays cold for the next couple of races (and may b even wet :))
